To access your account via net banking, you will need your CRN Number, also known as the Customer ID or Customer Relationship Number.
Here's how to find your CRN Number for your Kotak Mahindra Bank account:
1. Find your CRN Number through Credit/Debit Card:
Take a look at the documents and welcome kit provided by the bank. Locate your debit or credit card, as the CRN Number can be found just below your name. It should be an 8-digit number. If you were previously an ING Vysya Bank customer and your account has been transferred to Kotak Mahindra Bank, you can find your customer ID in a similar manner.
2. Obtain your CRN Number through SMS:
If you don't have your debit or credit card with you, simply send an SMS with the content 'CRN' to 9971056767. You will receive your CRN Number via SMS. Remember to use your registered mobile number for this process. If you don't have access to your registered mobile number, refer to the welcome kit provided by the bank.
3. Retrieve your CRN Number online:
For ING Vysya to Kotak migrated customers, visit the link: https://www.kotak.com/OPR/fpass/wbg/knowYourKtkCrn.jsp, and follow these steps:
- Retail Banking Customer: Enter your old customer ID and the captcha code, then click the submit button to obtain a new CRN.
- Business Banking Customer: Enter your old corporate ID, customer ID, and the captcha code, then click the submit button to obtain a new CRN.
Having your CRN Number on hand allows you to access Kotak bank net banking and Kotak 811 account. It is also required for filling out any applications within the bank.
