NEFT and RTGS Services

As per RBI (Reserve Bank of India) guidelines, Union Bank now offers 24x7 NEFT and RTGS services for fund transfers, providing uninterrupted access to customers every day of the year. Previously, NEFT transactions were from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM on weekdays, requiring bulk files by 6:00 PM for same-day processing. RTGS transfers were available from 8:00 AM to 4:20 PM, with bulk file uploads needed by 3:30 PM.

Restoration of Services Post COVID-19 Lockdown

Post COVID-19 lockdown, Union Bank has resumed normal operating hours and reinstated all banking services. The bank had earlier adjusted operations to safeguard customers and staff, introducing a 'COVID-19 Regulatory Package' and modifying staff management. Services like account opening, passbook printing, cash handling, cheque processing, remittances, government transactions, and note exchanges are fully restored. Customers are encouraged to use Net-banking and Mobile Banking for transactions, unless branch visits are necessary, adhering to social distancing and sanitization guidelines.

Locker Services and Lunch Break Policy

Locker services are accessible during regular bank hours. Customers interested in operating or obtaining lockers can visit branches within these hours. The bank ensures continuous service throughout the day with no formal lunch break.
