Introduction:

State Bank of India (SBI) customers using internet banking may face various errors, such as the "No Accounts Mapped for This Username" issue, which can cause potential confusion. Below is a detailed guide to help resolve this problem effectively.

When enrolling in SBI Internet Banking with the default Username and Password from the Internet Banking Kit, users might experience restricted access. The default account is often concealed in the account list, preventing the server from linking it to the specified Username, thereby restricting users from modifying their Personal Profile.

The solution involves making the account visible from the hidden account list and authorizing complete transaction rights. This process is straightforward and typically takes about an hour to enhance user experience.

Steps to Fix the "No Accounts Mapped for This Username" Error:

  1. Visit the official SBI net banking website and log in with your credentials.
  2. Go to "My Accounts & Profile" and click "Profile" from the options.
  3. Select "Manage A/C Display" from the Profile list.
  4. Choose "Unhide Accounts", enter your Profile Password, and hit "Submit".
  5. Select your account number and press "Submit" again.

Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a confirmation message stating the account profile is updated, granting you access to both inquiry and transaction features. The account number will now be listed under the "Hide Accounts" tab.

Another Solution for the "No Accounts Mapped for This Username" Error:

  1. In the menu, select "Request & Inquiries" and click on "Upgrade Access Level".
  2. Choose your account number, select "Full Transaction Rights" under "Upgrade Access Level", and press "Submit".
  3. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click "Confirm".

Once confirmed, you'll receive a message stating that your request for account rights upgradation is approved. Activation of changes may take up to an hour, and later, you'll gain full access to transaction features without encountering further errors.

If the error remains, or for further assistance, visiting the nearest SBI branch is advisable.
