Introduction:

Users of State Bank of India's (SBI) internet banking could encounter the error message "No Accounts Mapped for This Username." This guide provides an easy solution to fix this issue.

When registering for SBI Internet Banking with the default Username and Password from the Internet Banking Kit, customers often face limited access because some accounts are hidden. This prevents the server from connecting to any accounts registered under that username and also restricts changes to the Personal Profile.

To resolve this, users should unhide their accounts and grant full transaction rights. The process is simple, generally taking about an hour to complete, thus facilitating seamless usage afterward.

Steps to resolve the "No Accounts Mapped for This Username" error:

  1. Access the SBI net banking site and log in with your Username and Password.
  2. Navigate to "My Accounts & Profile" and select "Profile."
  3. Click on "Manage A/C Display" from the Profile menu.
  4. Choose "Unhide Accounts," enter your Profile Password, and click "Submit."
  5. Select and submit your account number.

Upon completing these steps, inquiry and transaction privileges are enabled, confirmed via a modification statement. Your account number will now be visible under the "Hide Accounts" section.

An alternative solution for the "No Accounts Mapped for This Username" error:

  1. Select "Request & Inquiries" and then "Upgrade Access Level."
  2. Choose the account number, allocate "Full Transaction Rights," and submit.
  3. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number; enter it and confirm.

Once confirmed, these changes will be recorded and may require up to an hour to become effective. After activation, you'll have full transaction access, effectively solving the error.

If the issue persists or further assistance is needed, visiting the nearest SBI branch is recommended.
