Introduction:

SBI (State Bank of India) users may encounter various internet banking issues, including the "No Accounts Mapped for This Username" error. This comprehensive guide aims to assist in resolving this issue.

Upon registration for SBI Internet Banking using the default Username and Password from the provided Internet Banking Kit, users might experience limited access. Typically, the default account remains hidden, causing the server to fail in mapping it to the given Username, which limits users from altering their Personal Profile.

Resolving this involves making the account visible in the hidden account list and enabling full transaction rights. This relatively simple process, usually completed within an hour, significantly improves user experience.

Steps to Resolve the "No Accounts Mapped for This Username" Error:

  1. Visit the official SBI net banking website and log in using your credentials.
  2. Select "My Accounts & Profile" and click on "Profile".
  3. Choose "Manage A/C Display" from the Profile options.
  4. Select "Unhide Accounts", input your Profile Password, then click "Submit".
  5. Choose your account number and press "Submit" again.

After successful completion, a confirmation message will inform you that the account profile is updated, enabling access to both inquiry and transaction capabilities. Your account number will appear under the "Hide Accounts" tab.

Alternate Solution for the "No Accounts Mapped for This Username" Error:

  1. Under the menu, select "Request & Inquiries" and then "Upgrade Access Level".
  2. Choose your account number, opt for "Full Transaction Rights" under "Upgrade Access Level", and press "Submit".
  3. An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click "Confirm".

Upon confirmation, a message will indicate that your account rights upgrade request is approved. Changes activation may require up to an hour, after which you'll have comprehensive access to transaction features with no further errors.

Should errors persist, or for additional help, it's recommended to visit your closest SBI branch.
