Introduction:

State Bank of India is introducing the SBI EMS portal, an Enterprise Messaging Service, exclusively for its employees. This portal provides each employee with a unique email address associated with the State Bank of India or its associates.

It's important to note that not everyone has access to the portal. Those who wish to gain access must contact the local EMS head or the bank's admin. Furthermore, the request for portal credentials is subject to approval.

Here are the steps to log in to the SBI EMS portal:

Step 1: If you have access to the portal, visit https://ems.sbi.co.in.

Step 2: Once the portal is displayed, enter your username and select the appropriate domain. For example, SBI employees should select sbi.co.in, while State Bank of Patiala employees should select sbp.co.in.

Step 3: After entering your username, input your password and click the Sign In button. You will then be redirected to the EMS Dashboard.

Here are some important details to consider regarding the EMS Portal:

- Account activation requests must be made to the Admin or the EMS head in the IT department. Upon approval, the account will be activated for 24 hours.

- The username and password will be shared with the employee as a one-time password. The user will be prompted to change their password upon first login.

- Passwords are valid for 90 days only, so users must update their passwords every 90 days.

- If a user forgets their password, they must contact the EMS Helpline for a password reset. Additionally, after five unsuccessful login attempts, the account will be locked for 30 minutes.

- Changing DNS settings to alter proxy settings will result in blocked access to the EMS portal.
