Paying your SBI credit card bill on time is important to avoid additional charges and penalties. SBI provides multiple ways to make your credit card bill payment. You can choose to pay online via NEFT, UPI, PayNet, or make over the counter payments or drop a cheque at a drop box. Here are the details on each payment method.
SBI Credit Card Bill Payment Online
You can pay your SBI credit card bill online using methods like NEFT, Bill Desk, PayNet, UPI, and the SBI Card Mobile App. To pay via NEFT, log in to the netbanking portal of your bank, add SBI Card as a third party beneficiary, enter your SBI Card number, and use the SBIN00CARDS IFSC code to make the payment.
To pay via PayNet, log in to the SBI Card website, click on the 'Pay Now' option, choose the payment amount and mode (Debit Card or Internet Banking), and complete the payment. The payment will be credited instantly into your SBI credit card account.
SBI Credit Card Bill Payment Offline
If you prefer offline payment methods, you can pay your SBI credit card bill over the counter at an SBI branch, through an electronic drop box, or using an ATM. At the branch, fill out the pay-in-slip with the required details and submit it along with the payment. In the electronic drop box, insert a cheque and receive an e-receipt instantly. At the ATM, choose the services tab, enter your credit card number and the amount to be paid, and receive a payment acknowledgement receipt.
It's important to note that different payment methods have different processing times. Online payments via SBI, PayNet, debit card, SBI mobile banking, and the SBI Card app are credited instantly. Payments made using Visa Credit Card Pay are credited within 3 working days. NEFT payments made before 3:30 pm are credited within 3 banking hours. UPI payments via BHIM SBI Pay are credited instantly.
In case you have any questions or issues regarding your SBI credit card bill payment, refer to the FAQs section on the SBI Card website or contact SBI customer service. Remember to make your payments on time to avoid late fees and maintain a good credit history.
