  1. Log on to the e-Filing website.

  2. Click on 'Know Your PAN'.

  3. Provide the following details:

    • Date of Birth or Date of Incorporation in DD/MM/YYYY format

    • Surname, Middle Name, and First Name

  4. Enter the Captcha Code displayed onscreen and click 'Submit'.

Note: The 'Know Your PAN' section is no longer available on the e-filing website, and the above steps are outdated.

The results will display:

  • Your PAN Card number

  • Your First Name

  • Your Middle Name

  • Your Surname

  • Jurisdiction

  • Remarks on the status of your card (active, inactive, etc.).

You can use the Indian PAN Card mobile app to retrieve your PAN details. Follow these steps:

  1. Download the PAN Card mobile app on your phone.

  2. Open the app and click on 'Know your PAN details' at the bottom of the home page.

  3. Enter the necessary details, including your mobile number.

  4. You will receive a One Time Password (OTP) on your mobile number. Enter the OTP in the provided box and click 'Submit'.

  5. You will be able to view your PAN Card details, including your PAN Card number.

  1. Visit the Income Tax Department's e-Filing website.

  2. Click on 'Register Yourself'.

  5. Fill out the Registration Form and click 'Submit'.

  6. A One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your email address and mobile number.
