The Hyderabad Metro's Blue Line extension to Mindspace Junction, located approximately 800 meters from Raidurg Terminal Station, is progressing, featuring the construction of a multi-level station. Expected to be completed in 3 years, this Airport corridor will boost connectivity and expand services to Ramoji Rao Film City.

State Budget's Impact on Hyderabad Metro
The Telangana State Budget assigns Rs 2,500 crore to enhance metro connectivity. For 2023-24, Rs 500 crore is allocated for Hyderabad Airport connectivity, Rs 500 crore for metro rail, and Rs 1,500 crore for loans. This funding supports the MGBS-Falaknuma line and improves access to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, with Rs 500 crore devoted to the 5.5 km MGBS-Falaknuma segment, as well as the 31 km length from Raidurg to Shamshabad airport. The project's foundation was recently laid by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
