Bank of Maharashtra Timings Updated Amidst Coronavirus Pandemic

In light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Bank of Maharashtra has made some changes to its operating hours. The bank, which is a major public sector bank in India, is now open from Monday to Friday between 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

During this time, all banking services such as account opening, passbook updates, cash deposits/withdrawals, and more are available. However, the bank encourages its customers to utilize its online banking services like BOM Net-banking or Mobile Banking instead of visiting the branch in person.

To ensure the safety and well-being of its customers, the bank has also implemented extra precautions such as social distancing measures, proper sanitation, and cleanliness protocols. Visitors to the bank are required to wear face masks and use hand sanitizer while entering and exiting the premises.

In addition to the changes in operating hours, the bank has taken several measures to provide relief to its customers amidst the challenging times. It has waived off service charges on savings accounts and online fund transfers using the NEFT system. Charges for cash withdrawals/non-financial transactions in other bank ATMs have been removed, and minimum balance charges for accounts without the required balance have been suspended.

Furthermore, the bank has introduced a Guaranteed Emergency Credit Line (GECL) to support the MSME sector. This scheme aims to provide additional credit at a low cost to help MSMEs meet their operational liabilities and restart their businesses.

It is important to note that the bank remains closed on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month. Additionally, the bank does not have a specific lunch break time, as employees take lunch breaks on a rotational basis between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to ensure that customers are not inconvenienced.

For those who need to visit their lockers at Bank of Maharashtra, it is advised to do so during the bank's working hours. The lockers cannot be accessed outside of these hours, and prospective applicants should apply for the service within the bank's working time window as well.

Bank of Maharashtra, with its extensive branch network of 1,846 domestic branches and 1,864 ATMs nationwide, continues to serve its customers with a range of banking services, including consumer banking, corporate banking, insurance, investment banking, credit cards, and more.

For more information, customers can refer to the bank's official website or visit their nearest branch during the specified timings.
