How to Open an SBI Savings Account
Online:
Visit the SBI website.
Go to 'Deposit Schemes' under personal banking and select 'Savings Bank Account'.
Read the benefits, rules, and regulations, and click on the ‘Apply Online’ option.
Fill in the details on the online application form.
A TCRN (Temporary Customer Reference Number) will be generated and sent to the registered mobile number.
Visit the nearest SBI branch within 30 days with the required original documents to complete the account opening process.
Offline:
Visit the official 'Branch Locator' page on the SBI website.
Select suitable options from the drop-down menus.
Bring your original KYC documents to the nearest SBI branch.
Complete the two-part form.
Submit the completed form with an initial deposit of Rs.1,000.
The bank will send a welcome letter, chequebook, and passbook after verifying the application.

Indian resident
Minimum age: 18 years
Must have valid Aadhaar and PAN cards
Aadhaar card linked with a registered mobile number
No other existing relationship with the bank
One Insta Savings account only
