Keeping informed helps in streamlining the process. This comprehensive guide elaborates on both online and offline methods for tracking your EPF claim status, along with the essential prerequisites.

Eligibility for EPF Claims

EPF claims are allowable under circumstances such as:

  • Post-retirement (aged 55+).
  • Pre-retirement (aged 54, one year before retirement).
  • Unemployment—partial withdrawal for specific needs.

Initiating the EPF Claim Process

Before filing a PF claim online/offline, select the correct claim form based on your age, employment, and withdrawal reason. Suitable forms include:

  • Form 13: For transferring funds due to a job change.
  • Form 14: For LIC policy payment.
  • Form 31: For advance/temporary EPF withdrawal.
  • Form 10D: To claim a pension for account holders under 58 with disabilities.
