Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund is a joint venture between the Bank of Baroda (50.1%) and BNP Paribas Asset Management Asia Ltd (49.9%). The two companies signed binding agreements on October 11, 2019, to merge their Asset Management and Trustee Companies in India. Upon receiving regulatory approvals and completing the necessary formalities, the entities were merged effective March 14, 2022. Today, their representatives are spread across 90 cities in India. The joint venture also offers offshore advisory services. As of June 30, 2024, the company's AUM stood at Rs 39,552.79 crores which is 0.64% of the Indian mutual fund industry's AUM.
